New Year's Weekend

Since Zach & his family weren't able to come down for Christmas this year, we went up there for New Year's Eve/Day weekend. We went out to dinner at Texas Roadhouse (my favorite) for my birthday. Ella got all dressed up in her Belle dress and Belle hair for my birthday party - so cute!!!

Afterwards, it was Christmas Part 2

On New Year's Day, we went bowling. Zach was the champion bowler

8th Annual Christmas Eve-Eve Campout in the Cave

These are some pictures from the Annual Christmas Eve-Eve Campout that Chanlie and Sheldon have done for the past 8 years. They always go to the same cave. They take wood so that they can have a fire and stay up all night playing games with the Wilde boys then go hike to the top of the rocks the following day. They always have a fun time and come home telling us of all of the funny things that happened and always come home smelling like they have been in a smokehouse all night!!!!

Zach & my sister, Kelli, ran the St. George Marathon again this year. They both did great! It was SUPER HOT that day. I don't know how they did it - I was about to die of heat just waiting for them at the finish line!

We had tons of fun at the Iverson Reunion. I was a loser and didn't bring my camera, so all of these pics are stolen from my cousin, Sasha's blog - thanks Sash!

My Aunt Jean's family was in charge this year and planned a lot of fun activities for us!!

For me, the highlight of the reunion was hearing my dad sing..... We hardly ever get to hear him sing anymore - in fact, Chanlie didn't even know that he knew how to play the guitar and sing!

Chanlie is now a TEENAGER! On the day of her birthday, we had a little family party at Grandma Iverson's house

4th of July Weekend 2010

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend this year! We usually go to the Bundy Reunion, but Chanlie had the opportunity to dance at the Stadium of Fire with her dance team, so we spent the weekend in Provo/Salt Lake. They had grueling practices for 2 1/2 days, then danced AWESOME at the show!!!

My boyfriend, David Osmond and the Osmond 2nd Generation sang...

Carrie Underwood ended the night with a great concert (she has such an amazing voice), followed by the best fireworks show I've ever seen!!!

Holden Wade Randall was born on May 26, 2010. He is such a little doll and looks a lot like Zach. We were so glad that we were able to be there when he was born.

On May 25th, we went up to Salt Lake - Lauren was scheduled to be induced and have their baby that day, but the hospital beds were all full! So, we made the best of it and went to Hogle Zoo instead - it was such a nice day and we all had a great time!

Last week, Jade, my mom, my sister Kelli and I went up to Provo to David Osmond's album debut concert. It was so great - he is such an awesome singer and has such a great voice. I really hope that the rest of the world notices this and he makes it big!!! (plus he's not too bad to look at either, even though I'm almost old enough to be his mother! ha ha ha)

This is after David's performance in Jonah and the Great Fish. We always tell Zach and he and David look alike, so we insisted that we get a picture of the two of them.... (But Zach, we all agree that you're hotter than David!)

Trooper of the Month!!!

Zach was named as Trooper of the Month for December. Zach's Sgt. wrote the following to nominate him:"Trooper Randall continually shows his willingness to be a team player, assisting his fellow troopers on crashes and arrests, as well as by performing blood draws and using his photogrammetry training and skills. Trooper Randall has proven himself to be both self-motivated and task oriented. In the month of December, Trooper Randall stopped 148 cars, arrested 7 impaired drivers, wrote 22 speed contacts, investigated 17 crashes, had 3 drug arrests, and assisted 48 motorists. As a young trooper, Trooper Randall is exhibiting both the drive and mindset to be well on his way to a successful career with the Utah Highway Patrol."

Congratulations Zach!!! We are so proud of you! We love you!!!

Christmas 2009

OK, OK, Zach's been telling me I've been a big slacker on my blog lately, so this one's for you Zach!

We had an awesome Christmas!!! It was so great having our whole family here together!!!

We started off with our annual Christmas Eve Party at my mom's house. Yummy mexican food, wild and crazy games, kids playing with their cousins, lots of fun etc...

Our "Open the present wrapped a million times" game got a little crazy, as usual, with Eric breaking one of the chairs from pounding it into the present to try to get it open.....

We have been wanting to take a family trip for a long time and the kids decided that is what they wanted for Christmas, so Santa sent them on a treasure hunt to find out where they were going!

We shopped alot, ate a ton, layed out in the sun a bunch, layed around a little, but most of all laughed a whole bunch and had the best time!!!

For Chanlie's birthday party, she wanted to have an "Amazing Race" party. So I had clues at various businesses in town (Essence Hair Salon, Fiesta Fun, Jumpin' Jacks, Hollister, Bath & Body, Golden Spoon, and Pizza Factory Express). We split up the girls into 2 teams, had 2 drivers, and they raced all over town. At most of the places, they had to complete a task (play a game, get a gumball out of machine, put on perfume etc.)

4th of July/Bundy Reunion

The Bundy Reunion is the MOTHER of all reunions. It is held every year on the 4th of July weekend out on the Arizona Strip, which is the dirtiest place on earth. I've been going since I was a little girl. I always dread going out there, but always end up having the greatest time and being so glad that I went. This year there were over 1,200 people in attendance. They have tons of activities to have fun: roping contest, bb gun shoot, skeet shoot, talent show, line dance, races, huge family dinner, horse shoes, auction (to raise money for the costs of the reunion and improvements to the grounds, often raising up to $15,000 per year), dance with live band, and ends with testimony meeting on Sunday. It's the hugest family reunion I've ever heard of. I'm so thankful that I am a part of the Bundy family and have such a great heritage.

Chanlie kicked butt and took 1st place at the races for the 11th year in a row. My grandpa says I always used to win the races when I was a little girl until one year someone beat me and I never raced again!

We went to the Randall Reunion on the mountain near Monticello. It was great to see everyone. We had a great time riding 4 wheelers (although Chanlie and I rolled the 4 wheeler TWICE! Luckily, we didn't get hurt.)

We got up early this morning and went to the District Track Meet where Chanlie competed in the Long Jump and the 800 Meter Race. She did great. We could hear people around us saying "Look at that girls long legs" and "Look at that girl's long stride".

Afterwards, we went to the Green Valley Pool with my sister, Kelli, and her kids. It was hot today, so it felt great!!!

Chanlie has been in Super Steppers for 2 years. Saturday night they performed in their end of the year Super Steppers Review. Chanlie danced so great!!!!!

Sheldon was a good sport and danced with Chanlie. It was pretty funny....

Ice Skating

While we were in Salt Lake we got to go ice skating. Well...... not me, but Sheldon, Chanlie, and Emily. I tried it once last year and couldn't even stand up on the ice, let alone skate around!!!

This past weekend, Sheldon, Chanlie, her friend Emily, and I went to Salt Lake for the long weekend. We had such a great time hanging out with Zach, Lauren, and cute little Ella Bug! Ella is such a little character - we laughed at her all weekend!

Chanlie got her braces off on Wednesday. She has had braces on her top front teeth for the past 6-8 months. After the rest of her baby teeth fall out and she gets all of her permanent teeth in, she may have to get braces back on, but until then they look so nice and straight........ She is so happy to have her braces off!

Every time Zach comes to St. George, he wants to go eat at Paula's - it's his favorite place. It was also his first job - he worked there as a bus boy when he was about 15.

We got to have Christmas morning again when Zach, Lauren & Ella got down here this past weekend. We loved having them down here for a few days and especially loved having Ella here to play with - she is so funny!

We always look forward to going to my mom & dad's house for Christmas Eve. We eat dinner (always enchiladas) and play games.

Our favorite game that we play on Christmas Eve is "the present" game. My mom and dad wrap a present a million times....... To make it even harder, they put it in several different boxes, use strapping tape and even duct tape to make it hard for us to open. We take turn rolling dice. When someone rolls doubles, that person gets to start opening the present. But to make it even harder, they have to wear boxing gloves while trying to open the present. They continue to try to open the present until someone else rolls doubles, then they have to give the gloves over and let that person try to open it. The person who finally gets to the present gets it! It is always something really good that everyone wants!

Holy Cow! We have been getting a lot of snow this week! It snowed about a foot on Monday and we are supposed to get a bunch more tonight and tomorrow. Chanlie is loving it! In fact, the buses couldn't make it up here to pick the kids up for school on Tuesday, so they got a snow day! Zach and Lauren, I know what you're thinking........ you guys deal with this stuff every day and don't get to miss work, but we, in St. George, don't know how to deal with this stuff - one of the benefits of living in St. George - ha ha ha!!!

We have had the worst luck lately! Last month, while we were in Salt Lake for Zach's graduation from the police academy, Sheldon wrecked my Durango. We just got it out of the shop last week - it now looks good as new.

Then Friday, while driving Chanlie up to her friend's house in Dammeron Valley, a deer ran out in the road and we hit it with our little Saturn car!

After wanting to start a blog for months now, I've finally done it! This is the official blog of the Sheldon & Keri Randall family....... Now if I can just figure out how to do everything with this blogging stuff! I'm sure after many phone calls to my daughter-in-law Lauren, I'll get it figured out!

These pictures were taken of our family in September 2008 in Snowbird, UT. We went up and rode the tram, raced down the Alpine slide (Sheldon insists that I add that he won all of the races - not!) and zipped down the zip-line. It was tons of fun!
